Reporting to the Venue Operations Manager, the Guest Relations Lead is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service and safety to all AD Brooklyn patrons and special event guests. This position oversees audience relations to ensure an experience that enables every person to feel welcome. This position manages all Front of House (FOH) operations, including recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising between 7-10 FOH staff members. Additionally, the Guest Relations Lead will work collaboratively with AD Brooklyn managers to establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all patrons.

sales, orders, and arrangements for the box office. Ensuring all tickets arrive at the venue on time and that the staff provides excellent customer service.


  • Monitor all customer requests and complaints and train all box office personnel to ensure an optimal level of customer service to provide resolution and process all orders
  • Have knowledge in operating the latest software, using the cash register, handling credit card payments, and other tasks related to running a box office 
  • Lead the charge on setting up a ticket booth in multiple rooms scanners and an inventory sheet to keep account from beginning to end to make sure everything is accounted for. Also breaking down at the end of the night.
  • Manage guest relations areas


  • Coordinate with core management team for how tickets will be implemented & distributed for events
  • Look at Box office staff schedule for each door and set up tills for each employee


  • Oversee Guest Relations areas to ensure it is operating in an efficient manner
  • Lead Guest Relations team by enforcing & relaying all necessary steps for guest entry into the venue
  • Complete ticketing sales effectively & promptly
  • Track sales throughout the event & regulate with core venue Management Team

Resolve customer problems/inquiries regarding ticketing issues, fraudulent ticket purchases, or other challenges that arise for entrance into the venue.

  • Sign off on each employees sign out sheets before they clock out
  • Ensure Guest Relations Area/Bag Check/Coat Check area is broken down and meets operational standards

SALARY: $23 to $25 per hour


AD Brooklyn seeks several outgoing, accountable, and energetic Guest Relations Liasons to serve as the primary AD Brooklyn representatives for the public and cultivate a meaningful and memorable experience for all visitors. The Guest Relations team is composed of dynamic and reliable individuals with excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. A successful Guest Relations Liason has a passion for engaging with the public, an enthusiasm for working in outdoor public spaces, and prioritizes safety and an excellent standard of care.

The Guest Relations Liaison is in charge of welcoming guests, scanning tickets, operating coat check, and answering tickets related questions. Liaisons ROTATE positions throughout the duration of the event varying from scanning tickets of guests upon entry, greeting guests, roaming the property to ensure the safety of patrons, driving the sale of merchandise, and being a reliable source of information to guests as well as lost and found.

To be successful in this role, a receptionist at an event space should have excellent communication and customer service skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have strong organizational skills. They should also be comfortable working with technology. The job of a receptionist at AD Brooklyn is to greet guests and provide them with a positive experience.


  • Greeting guests: The receptionist is responsible for greeting guests as they enter the venue, providing them with a warm welcome, and directing them to the appropriate areas.
  • Handling reservations: The receptionist will be responsible for handling reservations for events, such as weddings, corporate events, or private parties. This may involve answering phone calls and emails, providing information about the venue, and booking events.
  • Managing guest lists: The receptionist may be responsible for managing guest lists for events. This may involve checking guests in as they arrive, verifying their identities, and directing them to the appropriate areas.
  • Providing information: The receptionist sis expected to be knowledgeable about the venue and its offerings and must be able to provide guests with accurate and helpful information. This may include providing directions to the venue, recommending nearby restaurants or hotels, or answering questions about the event.
  • Maintaining a tidy workspace: The receptionist will ensure that the reception area / office is clean and tidy at all times, and that any necessary supplies, such as brochures or pens, are readily available.
  • Scheduling Deliveries: The receptionist should understand the importance of ordering supplies, decor, etc. They is expected to review orders with managers and receive appropriate approval. They is expected to keep a log of what comes in and out of the building.

SALARY: $18 to $25 per hour


The Venue Operations Assistant is the main point of contact with the outside. This person is in charge of all mail deliveries & pick-ups, incoming phone calls, customer service, and handles the lost & found for the venue. The Venue Operations Assistant also assists each department when needed in special projects.


  • Takes care of all incoming mail & packages and makes sure to notify the right person upon arrival
  • Directs packages to the right location
  • Assists in getting packages ready for pick-ups 


  • Screens and routes all incoming calls from the main line appropriately
  • Communicates internally within each department
  • Returns important phone calls from the voice mail


  • Answers all customer concerns
  • Provides event information (door time, age limit, set times, etc)
  • Helps customers with ticket-related issues (non-show hours)


  • Uploads and processes all lost items from each weekend into our L&F SYSTEM
  • Communicates with customers regarding filed claims
  • Schedules pick ups of lost items
  • Ships items out when needed

SALARY: $20 to $25 per hour


As a Facilities Team Member at AD Brooklyn, your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of the venue’s physical infrastructure.


  • Cleaning and Maintenance: You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the venue, including all restrooms, common areas, and any other spaces that require regular maintenance. This includes sweeping, mopping, dusting, and ensuring that all facilities are fully stocked and functional.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: You will also be responsible for identifying and repairing any issues with the venue’s facilities, including plumbing and electrical. This includes regularly checking equipment, changing light bulbs, and making minor repairs as necessary.
  • Event Setup and Break Down: You will work closely with the event staff to ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are set up and taken down in a timely manner, ensuring that the venue is ready for the next event.
  • Responsibility with Tasks: You will be responsible for assigned projects from your higher ups in regards to work done around the venue.

SALARY:  $18 to $22 per hour


As a barback at AD Brooklyn, your primary responsibility is to assist the bartenders in maintaining a clean and efficient bar area.


  • Preparing the bar area: This includes setting up the bar with ice, garnishes, and glassware. You may also be responsible for stocking the bar with alcohol, mixers, and other supplies.
  • Clearing tables: You will be responsible for clearing empty glasses, bottles, and other debris from tables and the bar area.
  • Cleaning and organizing: You will be responsible for keeping the bar area clean and organized, including wiping down counters, sweeping the floor, and taking out the trash.
  • Assisting bartenders: You will be responsible for assisting bartenders in serving customers, including refilling ice and mixers, restocking supplies, and helping to prepare drinks.
  • Providing excellent customer service: You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patrons, including answering questions and making recommendations.
  • Following safety protocols: You will be responsible for following all safety protocols, including handling hazardous materials safely and cleaning up spills promptly.

Overall, your role as a barback is to support the bartenders in providing excellent service to patrons while maintaining a clean and efficient bar area. You will be an integral part of the team, and your contributions will be essential to the success of the event space.

SALARY: $10 to $18 per hour + tips


As a bottle service waitress at AD Brooklyn, your primary responsibility is to provide excellent customer service to guests who have purchased VIP bottle service packages.


  • Greeting guests upon arrival and escorting them to their reserved table or booth.
  • Taking orders for bottle service and ensuring that each bottle is properly chilled and served with appropriate mixers, ice, and garnishes.
  • Maintaining an organized and well-stocked bar area, including restocking bottles, glasses, and other supplies as needed.
  • Interacting with guests and building rapport with them to ensure a positive experience.
  • Serving food and drinks to guests as needed, and processing payment for orders.
  • Addressing any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Cleaning up the table or booth after guests depart and preparing it for the next reservation.
  • Following all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Collaborating with other staff members, including bartenders, security personnel, and management, to ensure that guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience.

To excel in this role, you should have excellent customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, and knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and wine. You should also be able to multitask effectively and work well as part of a team.

SALARY:  $10 to $20 per hour + tips


The busser will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized space by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and assisting in setting up and breaking down events.


  • Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and other surfaces in the space.
  • Clear dishes, glassware, and other items from tables and bring them to the kitchen.
  • Assist bartenders and servers by refilling ice, restocking supplies, and removing empty bottles and glasses.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down events by moving furniture, setting up tables and chairs, and placing decorations.
  • Ensure that the event space is kept tidy throughout the night by sweeping and mopping floors, and taking out trash.
  • Communicate with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
  • Follow all safety and health regulations and guideline.

SALARY:  $10 to $15 per hour + tips


As a handy person at AD Brooklyn, your primary responsibility would be to ensure that the facility is well-maintained and functioning properly. 


  • General maintenance: You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, repairing broken fixtures, and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Repairs: You may be called upon to fix broken doors, windows, or other items that need repair. This could also include fixing electrical and plumbing issues.
  • Cleaning: You will be responsible for keeping the space clean and organized, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, and emptying trash cans.
  • Safety: You will be responsible for ensuring that the space is safe and secure, including monitoring for potential hazards and addressing them promptly.
  • Miscellaneous tasks: You may be required to perform other tasks as assigned by management.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You should also have experience in basic maintenance and repair tasks and be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

SALARY: $18 to $25 per hour


As a handy person at AD Brooklyn, your primary responsibility is to ensure that the facility is well-maintained and functioning properly. 


  • Preparing the venue: The event cleaner is responsible for setting up the venue before events, which may include arranging tables, chairs, and other equipment.
  • Cleaning before the event: The cleaner needs to make sure that the venue is clean and free of any debris or trash before the event starts. This may include sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
  • Cleaning up after the event: Once the event is over, the cleaner is responsible for cleaning up the venue. This may include removing decorations, cleaning floors and surfaces, and disposing of any trash.
  • Reporting any damages or issues: The cleaner needs to report any damages or issues they come across to the appropriate person, such as a supervisor or manager.

To be successful in this role, an event cleaner must have good time management skills, be able to work independently or as part of a team, and have a keen eye for detail. They should also have good communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.

SALARY:  $18 to $25 per hour


The role of Coat Check Attendant is to Check-In coats for customers and confirm payment. Cashiers are responsible for handling banks provided by your manager, and to accurately account for your registers total earnings. 


  • Set up coat check station as directed by the Manager
  • Hang ticketed hangers properly and place racks neatly
  • Ensure work area is clean at all times
  • Retrieve customer items in a professional manner
  • Properly organize coats and racks
  • Keep an eye of all belongings in coat check area


  • Set up racks with hangers from the stand
  • Ticket every hanger in order and hang them in a rack
  • Move racks that are ready in order to maximize space
  • Ensure registers are ready to open
  • Fill out drawer money slip


  • Greet customers
  • Ask for customer’s initials and label it on the top of half of the ticket.
  • Rip off the bottom half of the ticket and hand it to the customer.
  • Request that they take a photo of their ticket in case they lose it.
  • Place the coat on a hanger 
  • When checking in a bag or item, label initials on the front side of the bag ticket and wrap it securely onto the checked item.

Once the exchange is complete, wish the customer a pleasant evening and move on to the next customer.

  • Retrieve customer belongings at the end of the night
  • Rip off hanger’s tickets and throw them in a trash can
  • Place hangers in designated stands
  • Move racks and place them in their designated area
  • Help breaking down coat check to meet operational standards

If you have or obtain your F-03, F-02, or Food-handling certification, additional compensation can be discussed. 

SALARY: $18 to $19 per hour


To maintain a clean interior and exterior of the venue, including but not limited to, lounge areas, main floor, bars, food stand areas, bathrooms, green room, and supply areas.


  • Ensure venue is show ready before guests arrive each night
  • Keep all areas, and most importantly guest-facing areas, free of trash during events
  • Complete general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, taking out trash and recycling
  • Dust/wipe down tables, couches, and other furniture
  • Pick up any debris outside of the venue
  • Replace plastic trash can liners
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
  • Assist with cleaning duties as assigned
  • Shovel snow from around entrance/exits, put down ice melt as needed
  • Communicate with supervisor and manager with regards to cleaning problems and supply needs
  • General labor for event set-up and breakdown, including but not limited to, moving furniture

SALARY: $18 to $21 per hour
